Integrated Security

Yes. All of URBANARC's surveillance and guard personnel are in-house, uniformed, trained and licensed by the Private Security Authority, the regulator for the activity, with continuous updates in line with current regulations. We don't work with subcontracted guards: the personnel are part of the company's own staff, with current insurance and ongoing training, as in every other URBANARC service. Every guard assigned to a building holds a valid license. The surveillance service can provide coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and integrates with the electronic systems (CCTV, access control and alarms) that we manage from the same platform, so that technology and people work in a coordinated way rather than as isolated systems.

Both systems are managed from a single web and mobile platform that brings IP cameras, readers, turnstiles and vehicle barriers into one management environment. The integration makes it possible to correlate every access event (a card swipe, a biometric read or an app-based opening) with the video record from the corresponding point, so that after an incident you can reconstruct who entered, where and when, with the associated video evidence. It also enables combined alerts: for example, repeated denied access or an entry outside permitted hours can trigger an alert that shows the image from that area's camera. Incident reports are generated in real time with photographic and video evidence. When the building already has a BMS, the platform integrates with it to avoid duplicating infrastructure.

Yes. The IP video surveillance systems we design and install include cloud storage and remote access, so both the client and the URBANARC team can oversee the facility from anywhere, through the same web and mobile platform used to manage access control and alarms. Remote monitoring doesn't replace on-site personnel where the building requires them; it complements them: the CCTV's video analytics generate alerts that the team evaluates, and incident reports arrive in real time with photographic and video evidence. Cloud storage also protects recordings if the local equipment is damaged or stolen, and makes it possible to retrieve footage from earlier dates without depending on a physical recorder in the building.

The intrusion, fire and panic alarm panels URBANARC installs are monitored permanently, not only during office hours. When an alarm triggers, the protocol calls for immediate response and direct communication with the security forces appropriate to the type of event. If the building has on-site guards, the guard verifies the event and acts according to the protocol defined in the initial risk analysis; if CCTV is integrated as well, the operator can remotely check the image from the area where the alarm triggered before escalating. Every event is logged with its photographic and video evidence in an incident report, and during the monitoring and continuous improvement stage we analyze incidents to adjust the building's response protocols.

Yes. Integration with BMS (Building Management System) platforms and existing building management systems is one of the service's key benefits, and it avoids duplicating infrastructure that is already in place. The solution design starts with a risk analysis that also surveys the existing technology: cameras, readers, alarm panels and the BMS, if there is one. On that basis we define which components are reused, which are replaced and how they connect to our unified web and mobile management platform. The aim is for security events (access, alarms, video) to coexist with the building's operational information in a single environment instead of running as isolated systems. The same criterion applies to cameras or readers installed by other vendors: they are evaluated in the risk analysis and, if they meet the design, incorporated into the scheme.
